As a Solution AreaSpecialist ,lead customer engagements with impactful industry insights, closing deals and building lasting relationships. You will uncover the needs of strategic customers and guide them towards transformative solutions. Your innovative strategies will drive and close key opportunities, while you collaborate with partners to maximize every engagement.

As a mentor, you will share best practices and foster continuous improvement across subsidiaries. Your expertise will inform critical decisions, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues with effective recovery plans. You will manage strategic accounts, lead forecasting efforts, and develop plans that drive intentional selling. Junior team members will look up to you for guidance and mentorship.

Required/Minimum Qualifications (RQs/MQs)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field AND 6+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience
    • OR 7+ years of technology-related sales or account management experience.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications (PQs)

  • (i.e., MBA), Information Technology,
    • OR related field AND 5+ years of technology-related sales
    • OR account management experience
    • ORBachelor's Degree in Information Technology,
    • OR related field AND 8+ years of technology-related sales
    • OR account management experience
    • OR 9+ years of technology-related sales
  • 6+ years of solution or services sales experience.

Sales Excellence:

  • Engage with stakeholders on business planning and Rhythm of Business (ROB) meetings for strategic accounts.
  • Build and transform new markets leveraging technical and industry expertise, partners, and resources.
  • Lead business analysis and pursue high-potential customers, acting as a thought leader.
  • Manage end-to-end business for strategic accounts, lead forecasting, and develop portfolio and territory plans.

Sales Execution:

  • Conduct personal campaigns to discover new opportunities and generate leads.
  • Lead conversations with strategic/high-potential customers and facilitate account team unit (ATU) and/or Specialist Team Unit (STU) collaboration.
  • Drive consumption and grow business with existing strategic customers, ensuring rapid deployment plans.
  • Explore and assess customer needs, articulate business value, and lead proposal development.
  • Bring industry insights into customer engagements, close deals, and lead virtual transformational shifts.

:

  • Lead sales orchestration with internal stakeholders and partners, promoting collaboration.
  • Plan and execute opportunities with resources and partners, cross-sell and up-sell, and validate partner solutions.

Technical Expertise:

  • Lead conversations and set up events within Microsoft, mentor others, and share best practices.
  • Share competitor knowledge across solution areas, collaborate with global black belts (GBB), and provide feedback on future product trends.
