Your Role and Responsibilities
This job position is for IBM Japan.

Period：Approx. 24 weeks, negotiable
Time：9:00～17:36 (default)
Reduced working hours can be negotiated:
Place: Hakozaki Lab or Shinkawasaki Lab
Salary:
9,700yen (for master’s)」／10,900yen (for doctoral students)」(in case housing allowance is unnecessary)
15,700yen (for master’s)」／16,900yen (for doctoral students)」(including housing allowance)
Commuting cost will be paid.

For foreign residents coming to Japan to participate in an internship, please apply at least 4 months prior to the desired start date in order to prepare for the VISA. In addition, the internship period must be at least 3 months. (This does not apply to foreign students living in Japan.)

One of the fundamental knowledge described below:
– Semiconductor; e.g. material, process, electromagnetics, electrical device, electrical circuit, packaging and chiplet
– Simulation; e.g. mechanical, electrical (EMC), thermal, fuild dynamics
– Software development; e.g. programing, architecture
– Machine Learning; e.g. algorithm, theory
– AI theory
– Better English communication, either written or verbal
– Nice to have an interest and curiosity on foreign cultures

Major course experience in university about the semiconductor, packaging, simulation, information technology and machine learning
