As a React Native Engineer at Nutmeg (part of JPMorgan Chase), you will work within the Integration
commercially savvy and have a head for fintech. We work in tribes and squads that focus on specific
products and projects – and depending on your strengths and interests, you'll have the opportunity to
move between them.

Job Responsibilities
- Tackle complex problems using React Native, JavaScript and more.
- Own tasks from estimation through release and post production in an Agile SDLC.
- Write high quality, well tested code, advocating good coding practices, and help others achieve the same via code reviews.
- Help identify, investigate and resolve issues or inefficiencies in systems, processes or technologies, both internal and external to the team.
- Improve quality at every step.
- Support our bi-weekly releases and help us continually improve this process.
- Communicate clearly and confidently.
- Collaborate with others on Technical Initiatives to evolve and improve the codebase and toolset.
- Build bridges with stakeholders from across the business.
- Work closely with other teams across domains and technologies to deliver the best solution for any problem or feature.
- Be keen to continuously learn and share your knowledge and opinions and seeking out the perspectives of others.
- Think strategically, always focusing on the customer.
- Be proactive andnever say never.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Significant React experience.
- Confident command of vanilla JavaScript.
- Strong computer science fundamentals.
- Thorough unit and end to end testing experience.
- Commercial experience with continuous delivery.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- BSc or higher in a STEM subject.
- Experience with Detox and / or Appium.
- Experience in Swift and / or Kotlin.
- Experience in Mobile Development.
- Experience in Java.
- Knowledge of app security, encryption and user privacy.
