Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: The focus on compliance with travel policies and regulatory mandates is driving the adoption of advanced travel and expense management software to ensure adherence to corporate policies and legal requirements.
Expectations and Tasks:
Lead efforts to establish, develop and expand market share for Concur solutions with existing and net new customers in Germany
Initiate contact and establish interest with key decision makers and develop an influence map
Understanding the customer's concerns, following up appropriately, resolving conflicts in scheduling and resources as needed, and always maintaining customer focus as a #1 priority
Collaboration in cross-functional teams made up of various Concur units (including Customer Success, Presales, Partner Management) to ensure joint success
Maintain relationships with co-selling partners and 3rd party software vendors
Build up a sound knowledge of Concur’s products and services
Develop a good understanding of the market trends, the customer territory and competitive offerings
Provide feedback from field experience to internal cross-functional teams with regards to product, selling, competitive, etc. matters.
Participate in the planning of sales and marketing campaigns and other strategic initiatives to ensure steady growth
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
At least 4+ years of professional B2B sales experience with an emphasis on acquiring customers
Relationships in travel & expense communities (e. g. Head of Finance, Global Mobility, Travel Management.) of advantage
Track record of successfully selling/liaising at the C level with a corporate client network
Professional, self-starter with strong work ethic and ability to work independently
Ability to achieve individual as well as team goals that will require working as a team in a complex sales cycle, as well as demonstrate the ability to communicate solutions
Display high levels of energy and drive, thrive under pressure with strong business acumen.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German (min. C1 level) and English
