RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct routine and specialized chemical analyses using GC and GC-MS techniques.
- Develop and optimize analytical methods for the identification and quantification of compounds.
- Perform sample preparation, extraction, and data analysis.
- Maintain and troubleshoot analytical instruments, including GC, and GC-MS systems.
- Conduct routine physical property testing such as viscosity measurements, flashpoint, and smoke point.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support research projects.
- Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately.
- Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in chromatography and mass spectrometry.
MUST HAVE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with GC and/or physical property testing
