Power Systems Engineering specialise in the National Electricity Market (NEM)connection studies, leveraging expertise to integrate battery energy storagesystems into the grid.

You'll have a unique opportunity tosupport Power Systems Engineering with negotiating Generator PerformanceStandards (GPS) with Network Service Providers (NSP) and the Australian EnergyMarket Operator (AEMO), ensuring compliance and operational excellence.

• Support NEMconnection studies to assess the impact of new generators on the power system'sstability and reliability
• Test newlydeveloped Python automation tools for connection studies
• Support preparationof technical reports and documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies

• Minimum Bachelor'sdegree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems Engineering
• Basic understanding of Australian energy market regulations, grid codes, andtechnical standards
• Advantageous tohave some proficiency in power system analysis software (e.g., PSCAD, PSS/E,DIgSILENT PowerFactory)
• Experience inPython scripting
