This roleis responsible formanaging software development projects associated with developing,projects based on value proposition and feasibility. The rolethe development of quality-focused, world-class software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leads, coaches, cares for, and grows teams of customer-focused software and data engineers.

  • Thoughtfully organizes and unblocks collaboration and partnership at multiple levels, across business groups and functions to achieve the organizational mission.

  • Partners closely with Product Management, Technical Program Managers, Architects, HP product groups, and experts to envision, drive, and deliver innovative, compelling, and quality solutions at speed and scale.

  • Engages with Architects and broader HP technology excellence communities to provide technical vision and strategy for the teams; designs and leads a multi-year technical roadmap, balancing short- and long-term technology investments.

  • Provides overall financial direction in order to manage the development of business solutions budgets, controls and measurements to monitor progress.

  • determinethe right set of community features to drive engagement and business goals.

  • Translates functional plans into operational processes and strategically guides execution.

  • Works across internal and external stakeholders to seamlessly integrate solutions that meet and enable business priorities.

  • Builds culture of continuous improvement and model lean leadership principles.

  • Participates in performance management to enhance associate development; sets expectations for high performing work teams; manages pay recommendations and encourages personal and professional career development.Demonstrate exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to extract key insights and translate them into actionable recommendations.

Role Requirements/ Skills

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or any other related discipline orcommensuratework experience ordemonstratedcompetence.

  • Typically has 12+ years of job-related and/or management experience, preferably in software designing & development, software architecture, programming languages, or a related field.

Preferred Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)or similar
