As an Information Designer in the J. P. Morgan Payments Integrated Marketing Client Communications team, you will be responsible for delivering effective, modern, on-brand, and on-strategy art and copy for materials supporting our business and corporate client base. You will brainstorm creative ideas with marketing/product teams, concept prototyping, and content development. Your role will be crucial in creating website/email content, product information, whitepapers/ebooks, graphics, and more.
Job Responsibilities:
- Design on-brand, creative graphics and editorial copy for a variety of uses including, but not limited to: websites, white papers, product flows, emails, events, animation, infographics, data visualizations
- Work with stakeholders to turn marketing requirements into compelling, appropriate marketing content and creative designs
- Leverage user data, research, and team input to generate concepts that enable accessible, seamless and relevant experiences for users
- Take ideas from concept to execution, working with art directors, project managers, information technologists, content experts and product partners to deliver an effective client experience
- Work with internal and external developers to ensure aesthetics align with usability, accessibility, and web standards; and content follows firm’s writing standards
- Apply all ADA (American Disabilities Act) best practices to content and graphics as required
- Liaise between the Client Communications and Design teams to ensure evolving design standards are translated into working templates and assets
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in design or related field
- Minimum 5 years years working experience in the field of digital visual design in a highly corporate environment
- Minimum 3 years of technical writing / copy writing
- Digital portfolio that demonstrates a collection of creative work showcasing creativity, practical abilities, and design-thinking skills
- Expert working knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite - InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Figma
- A minimum of four years of professional experience in designing for grid systems, editorial layouts and applications for web, desktop and mobile
- Must also have a proven successful track record in designing front-end product visual or interface designs
- Understanding of how HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other front-end web languages and technologies function and how their strengths and limitations affect the user interface; Ability to work in strictly PC environment
