Motivated and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor sought to carry out all quantity surveying activities related to MEP works. He should ideally be specialized in measurement & Cost Estimation of MEP systems such as HVAC, firefighting, SCADA, CCTV, telecom, Plumbing, Drainage, Electrical etc. The ideal candidate must possess a deep understanding of quantity surveying principles, local project requirements, government regulations, and industry best practices. Expertise will be crucial in developing precise and dependable priced/unpriced Bills of Quantities and estimates for a variety of building and infrastructure projects.
KEY COMPETENCY – Technical Skills
- Develop comprehensive BOQs for projects, accurately measuring and estimating items and quantities for MEP systems based on project specifications and drawings for building and infrastructure projects.
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs and cost breakdowns for all project components during different project completion stages.
- Shall have a strong understanding of market rates for various MEP-related items.
- Update and maintain cost databases with relevant information.
- Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.

- Demonstrate proficiency in industry-standard software, such as Bluebeam Revu, REVIT, AutoCAD & MS office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Technical competence in preparing Bill of Quantities and cost estimates for diverse building and infrastructure projects and able to deliver work and integrate with larger project teams.
- Should be able to take responsibility for quantity take-off/ Validating Quantity & Estimates for MEP items.
- Clear knowledge of work procedures and responsibility for completion of projects to time and cost.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines ensuring that work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Communicating with the counterpart in the lead office/Client and coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to understand project requirements and obtain necessary information.
- Mentor and guide junior quantity surveyors, providing them with the necessary training and support to enhance their skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 12-14 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Cost Estimation in building and infrastructure projects.
