As a Senior Lead Architect at JPMorgan Chase within the Corporate Investment Bank, you will be responsible for problem-solving, understanding wider implications, and generating innovative solutions. You will work collaboratively across multiple teams and processes, addressing changes that impact various areas such as inventory, code releases, and data centre exits. Your role will be a combination of working on projects and initiatives to improve the Developer Experience and our Governance obligations, and ensuring that we keep close to the problems facing CIB. You will also contribute to the firmwide architecture community, promoting solutions and decisions that improve architecture processes and control.
Job Responsibilities
- Combine major responsibilities of working on projects and initiatives which improve the Developer Experience and our Governance obligations and 1-2 days of BAU a week to ensure that we keep close to the problems facing CIB.
- Lead initiatives that include OSS, risk, audit, compliance, strategy, workflow and process improvements. The tasks involve leading working groups to discuss, solution and execute changes within the technology environment.
- Run Enterprise Architecture Governance bodies and address risk and controls obligations for architecture
- Provide feedback and proposes improvements to architecture governance practices
- Drive solutions and decisions that architecture governance and improves architecture processes and control
- Actively contribute to the Corporate Investment Bank and the firmwide architecture community
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on Technology skills concepts and proficient advanced experience
- Good understanding of architecture concepts and the SDLC
- Excellent communication skills and good presentation skills with the ability to relate and influence the junior and senior stakeholders
- Collaboration skills and the ability to work on lots of things at the same time (subject to a lot of interruptions), starting and finishing initiatives efficiently
- Ability to tackle architecture problems independently with little to no oversight

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- A degree in a technology discipline or relevant work experience.
- Coding skills in any language (Python, Java), Risk and Controls experience, workflows and automation skills
