Key job responsibilities
As a Cognos TM1 Administrator professional , you will be responsible for the management, maintenance, and optimisation of IBM Cognos TM1. Your role is critical in ensuring that the TM1 system operates efficiently, securely, and effectively to support an organisation’s financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting needs.As a Cognos TM1 Administrators you play a vital role in ensuring the stability and reliability of the Cognos TM1 environment, enabling organisations to make informed financial decisions and drive business success. Your responsibilities also encompass a range of technical, security, and maintenance tasks to keep the system operating at its best. Cognos TM1 Administrators are also responsible for keeping the system up to date and ensuring that users are trained in its use.You should be able to provide technical support and guidance to users and identify any problems or issues that arise. You need to be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to manage multiple projects at once.You must also have excellent organisational and communication skills and be able to work under pressure, along with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust
- Experience with Linux/Unix
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

- Experience with distributed systems at scale
