Developer: Proficient in modern development practices and frameworks, especially C# and Java.
Application Modernization Expert: Specialized in transforming legacy applications into modern, scalable, and resilient cloud-native applications. Proficient in leveraging Azure services to re-architect and re-platform existing applications, ensuring they meet contemporary performance, security, and scalability standards.
Pre-sales: Skilled in creating and presenting MVPs (Minimum Viable Products), POCs (Proof of Concepts), and demos to clients.
Sales Support: Able to support and take ownership throughout the sales cycle, ensuring technical solutions align with client needs and sales goals.
Team Player & Public Speaker: Effective collaborator and communicator, comfortable speaking in public settings to explain technical concepts and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
At least significant years of experience in modernizing legacy applications using Azure services and tools.
At least relevant years of experience in working with containers and Kubernetes, preferably with AKS.
At least relevant years of experience in using PaaS services like: Azure App Services, API Management, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
Comprehensive experience with all aspects of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), ensuring high-quality and efficient development processes from inception to deployment and maintenance.
Experience in working with large enterprises and complex projects.
Certifications in Azure Developer Associate and Azure DevOps Engineer Expert are preferred.
Technologies
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Expertise in deploying and managing infrastructure through code using Azure DevOps and GitHub.
Containers: Proficient in container technologies for application deployment and management, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Container Apps (ACA), Azure Red Hat OpenShift (ARO), and Azure Container Registry (ACR).
Frameworks: Familiar with CAF (Cloud Adoption Framework) and WAF (Well-Architected Framework) for designing and implementing application modernization solutions.
Microsoft Azure: In-depth knowledge of Azure services and features for application modernization, such as App Services, API Management, Logic Apps, Service Bus, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Serverless Computing.
Azure AI (optional): Knowledge in leveraging Azure AI technologies, including Azure OpenAI, Semantic Kernel & LangChain capabilities, for building intelligent applications.
Responsibilities
Own technical discussions with customers leveraging processes and tools, demos and programs; using consultative sales methodology and technical expertise to influence customer vision; establish rules of engagement for extended teams.Support the creation of new pipelines in the account team by identifying new opportunities.
Build technology strategy by mapping the agreed customer business outcomes into an appropriate Azure technology framework, resolving concerns, preventing and removing technical blockers, and translating technology complexity into business impact. Work with the customer, account team, and partners todrive and support the customer’s AI transformation inclusive of AI Applications and data foundation.
Design the solution using your technical knowledge,architect skills and consultingskills to win a customer’s technical decision and meet the customer’s needs; drive Pilots/Proof of Concepts (PoC) to create momentum for Minimum Viable Product (MVP), infusing AI technologies where appropriate and being technically proficient to do Proof of Concepts (PoC) with hands-on-skills.
Scale through partner by engaging in partner sell-with scenarios to carry out technical engagement activities, facilitating and managing partner resources and processes for Pilot/Proof of Concepts (PoC)/Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
Be the Trusted advisor and be proactive to find and understand customers’ pain points and design and offer the technical solution that aligns with the business case.
Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering team and Global Black Belts to remove key blockers and drive product improvements.
Maintain and grow expertise in developer tools, cloud native architecture and technologies, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights
