Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc./Ph.D. degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline or equivalent nonacademic experience.
- 12+ years of industry experience.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Strong understanding of cyber security.
- Excellent interpersonal’ leadership, and mentoring skills and ability to drive clear cross-team understandings.
- Qualifications - Other Requirements:
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check:
- This position will be required to pass the Microsoft background and Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of security researchers that work to analyze the threat landscape and contribute innovative content to Microsoft security product.
- Collaborate with multiple security research teams across Microsoft and work directly with senior leaders to protect Microsoft and its customers against threats.
- Work closely with product and engineering managers, as well as with leading data scientists and various experts to bring new technologies and mature them from conceptualization to product.
- Attract and cultivate future talents through various programs with an emphasis on diversity and inclusion.
