In this role, you will design, implement, and deploy reliable software infrastructure to support development and testing of high volume consumer electronic products. Kuiper is breaking new ground with every device we design, and you will be an integral part of bringing this family of products to customers.Key job responsibilities
· Develop software features, tools, and infrastructure for testing and deployment of terrestrial devices within the Project Kuiper system.
· Participate in all phases of SDLC including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and validation.
· Develop software in Python and other languages
· Review schematics, logic analyzer, and embedded software (bare-metal) to support software debug and troubleshooting.Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.A day in the life
As part of our software engineering team, you will design and implement software used to properly test and deploy Kuiper products. You will work in a collaborative environment with teams inside and outside of Amazon. You will craft your software from requirements, designs, code, test, to product deployment. You need to be flexible and responsive to changing priority issues.

- 2+ years of non-internship professional software development testing experience
- 1+ years of test automation frameworks and tools building experience
- Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
- Experience debugging, diagnosing, and troubleshooting complex, production software issues
- Experience with design or testing of software/firmware integrated into hardware systems

- Knowledge of overall system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a database environment
- Experience with security in service-oriented architectures and web services
- Experience developing or testing networking/communication hardware systems
