Job responsibilities
- Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
- Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
- Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
- Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
- Identify thematic problems and develop/lead delivery of strategies to improve the stability and resiliency of production and non-production environments
- Champion site reliability engineering culture and automated testing practices in production and non-production environments
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 7 to 10 years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
- Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
- A relationship builder with the ability to establish, develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and technology partners across different levels. Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates excellent problem-solving, time management and planning skills, and possesses the ability to handle multiple assignments at the same time. Positive attitude and easy to work with while delivering on high priority, time sensitive initiatives
- Expertise in site reliability engineering practices
- Expertise in continuous integration and continuous delivery methodologies and in automated testing integrated within a development pipeline
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles, including use of Agile project management tools (i.e., Confluence, JIRA/JIRA Align, etc.)
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Expertise in observability such as white and black box monitoring, SLO alerting, and telemetry collection using tools such as Grafana, Dynatrace, Datadog, Splunk, etc.
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization.
