The NVIDIA GPU/CPU clocks group is looking for an excellent Senior CAD/Infra engineer with an interest in developing new Automation & Intelligence tools and optimizing existing design/verification flow & process. The ideal candidate for this position needs to have strong programming skills, communication skills. If you have SOC development infrastructure experience, or Web system/GUI based application knowledge or NLP/Recommendation Algorithm AI application background, that will be a plus.

The Clocks group is responsible for crafting all aspects of GPU/CPU clocking. The team collaborates with the frontend design team to understand the clocking requirements for the chip. We also understand the physical restrictions being placed on the clocks by the backend teams. The clocks group architects, designs and validates the clocks RTL. The complexity of clocks RTL has increased many fold to support our features that power our product lines ranging from consumer graphics to self-driving cars and the growing field of artificial intelligence.

What you’ll be doing:

• Get familiar with Nvidia design and verification development environment, flow and process.

• Brainstorm with the design and verification owners to figure out suffering points or discuss infra-related improvement ideas. Settle down the specific requirement and choose the suitable methodology to develop infrastructure flow/tool.

• Responsible for maintaining and developingautomation/intelligenceinfrastructure flow and methodology including GUI-based tool like Web system and other cross-platformapplications. Setupregression/analyze flow based on AI/auto flow and create the efficient developing environment for design and verification work.

• Research on Nvidia in-house or industrycommercial designor verification tools and workflows. Utilize them or develop new applications on top of them to tackle clocks teamdesign/verification/archchallenges.

What we need to see:

• BS / MS in EE/CS or related, with 5+ years meaningful experience.

• Strong coding skill for Python, Perl, JavaScript etc.;

• Fluent English (both written and spoken) and excellent communication skills to interface with many groups and build consensus.

• Confirmed debugging and strong analytical skills.

• Validated excellent interpersonal skills.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• SOC development infrastructure work experience is a plus.

• Web system or GUI based application knowledge is a plus.

• NLP/Recommendation Algorithm AI application background is a plus

• Good teamwork spirit, easy to cooperate with team members.
