What you`ll do

The Role:
As a Development Expert (f/m/d) you will contribute to our virtualization, network and storage solutions by writing code in Rust and/or Go. We move towards rust-vmm based virtualization technology and build our own Rust-based Linux init system. You will participate in various sub-projects of our infrastructure stack. Most of your code will be open source.

What you bring

• 5+ years of professional coding experience in Go, Rust or C/C++
• In depth knowledge about and experience working with the Linux Kernel, Linux containers and virtualization
• Experience with cloud native development, cloud computing, distributed systems and container management technologies such as Kubernetes
• Professional experience in developing and operating web applications
• Knowledge of infrastructure and experience in operating hyperscaler based infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Good understanding of networking protocols (IP, TCP, UDP, TLS)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ideally, you have already contributed to open source projects and provide your GitHub account name with your application
