As part of our EY-Assurance Team, you will work with various operations teams (MIS&F/Reporting) to support team in effective and efficient management of internal and external stakeholder requirements.
Your key responsibilities
- Develop deep understanding of the data sources and data structures of the company
- Ability to gather, clean, visualize and work with large datasets in a simplified manner
- Advanced understanding Microsoft Excel for creating dashboards
- Must be able to function effectively and manage multiple inquiries in a deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to handle projects independently and as part of a team
- Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner.
- Develop MIS process documentation for smooth operations
- Provide recommendations to update current MIS to improve reporting efficiency and consistency.
- Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to management team.
- Generate both periodic and ad hoc reports as needed.
- Appreciate giving and receiving feedback as part of a company culture
- Candidate should have experience in working with people from another country or culture
Skills and attributes for success
- High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PPT) with basic knowledge of Alteryx & Power BI
- Good communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
- Basic project management skills
- Proficient in critical reasoning and problem solving
- Effective planning and prioritizing skills
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Graduates/Postgraduates with 1-2 years of relevant experience in reporting preferred.
- Confident in dealing with senior stakeholders, both internal and external to EY GDS Assurance
- Functions effectively as part of a team with experience in working with virtual teams
- Attention to detail and diligence in following up
- Ability to multi-task on varied projects
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in cleaning/scrubbing/merging large data sets from different sources on MS – Excel and Ms – Office using Alteryx, or formulas
