Manager, Channel Systems Engineering

In this key role, you will manage Channel Systems Engineers covering our channel ECOSYSTEM in France. You will create and implement with your associated Channel sales manager a strategic and development plans with our partners and distributors

focused on attaining enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet products and services. You will develop executive relationships with key buyers and influencers of our major partners and leverage these relationships. You will have to work with appropriate internal groups to coordinate technical action between Partners and end-customers

Responsibilities:

· Manage and motivate a team of Channel System Engineers focused on partners and distributors

· Serves as a liaison between company personnel, including support, marketing, sales, product, and management resources, in order to meet technical channel objectives, requirements and expectations.

· Communicates effectively and on a regular basis with channel sales managers to maintain channel engagement and motivation.

· Develops relationships with key decision makers, influencers inside Fortinet partner community

· Travels within assigned territory is required

Required Skills:

· 5 – 8 years of experience in technical/pre-sales support as a channel sales or channel systems engineering manager

· 5 - 7 years of experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration

· Strong understanding of channel sales models and experience working with resellers, distributors, and other channel partners in a vendor environment

· Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, Anti Virus, encryption and authentication

· Excellent presentation skills to executives & individual contributors

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences

· A self-motivated, independent thinker that can move deals through the selling cycle

· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in network security industry, MBA preferred.
