In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world.​ Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your Role and Responsibilities
This role focuses on building and maintaining automation for testing IT systems and applications. It involves using various test automation tools and technologies to create and manage automation solutions across different testing levels. Responsibilities include understanding testing requirements, designing test scenarios, developing and executing automation, and managing test data and environments. The role also requires knowledge of contemporary technology trends like Agile, DevOps, and Containers, and the ability to integrate test automation into overall delivery processes.– Automation Framework Setup: Set up, maintain, and execute robust test automation frameworks across multiple platforms, developing test scenarios and acceptance tests to streamline testing efforts.– Requirement Clarification: Review, analyze, and resolve ambiguities in requirements during the analysis phase to ensure clear expectations are set for the team.
– Test Case Creation and Execution: Responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining test cases, as well as efficiently tracking and reporting bugs.
– Traceability and Test Coverage: Create traceability matrices to ensure all requirements are covered and provide visibility into test coverage across various features.
– Reporting and Analysis: Provide detailed, regular reports on test progress, test coverage, and automation efficiency, offering actionable insights for improving the quality process.
– Automation Framework & CI/CD: Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of test automation frameworks, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.– Task Prioritization: Manage and prioritize multiple competing tasks effectively, ensuring all deadlines are met in a fast-paced environment.Experience with TFS, ALM, Jira or any relevant reporting tools.
– OOP knowledge and Java language.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 6+ Years of hands-on experience in Automation and test tools (i.e. Java, Python, Selenium, Appium, Katalon, Cyprus, Tosca, Playwright, RestAssured).
• Fluent in English (Written and Spoken).
