As a
Senior Product Associate in Offer Capabilities
You will work within the Offer Capabilities area product team to expand and enhance a cloud-based application that delivers personalized acquisition offers that meet the needs of our customers and supports acquisition growth strategies.
Job responsibilities
- Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
- Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
- Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
- Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
- Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
- Be responsible for intake or requests, writing requirements, test coordination, and maintaining a solid controls environment, all of which will help the firm ensure customers have access to the tools they need to help meet their financial goals
- Contribute to the strategic development, ongoing refinement & execution of the product roadmap in partnership with technology, business and vendors
- Lead execution of features throughout agile software development lifecycle (gather/write business requirements, translate into epics/user stories, end-2-end testing, launch, defect management and maintain an effective control environment)
- Challenge the status quo to improve and take teams/partner dynamics to new Agile and Scrum levels as we continue to evolve as a Product organization
- Understand, manage, and communicate prioritization of features and needs, ultimately tying back to wins for both customer and the firm
- Track and monitor performance, understand insights from analytics, and leverage to continually improve not only product but processes to deliver quality work
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
- Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle
- Experience in product life cycle activities including discovery and requirements definition
- Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy
- 2+ years’ experience assisting in building out a roadmap, backlog, and full end-to-end execution – overall comfort and adherence to Agility principles
- 2+ years’ experience working in financial services, retail banking, acquisition, digital products, online and mobile platforms, etc.
- 2+ years' experience managing tight delivery timelines and calmness under pressure
- 2+ years' experience using JIRA and Confluence
