How you’ll spend your day
- Responsible for ensuring operation, maintenance & reliability of all the non-manufacturing plant equipment, utilities, critical systems, assets including preventive/predictive maintenance, also be the in charge for coordinating with cross functional teams/departments in all shutdown and changeover activities.
- Lead operation and maintenance of electrical, water treatment and supply till user points, HVAC and related systems, nitrogen plant, compressors, chillers, boilers.
- Ensures the maintenance of fire pump house, ETP
- Leads the Installation and maintenance of IBMS system.
- Lead qualification of utility equipment’s/instruments/systems and HVAC validation and provide direction to the team.
- Accountability in ensuring all legal compliances are met within the area of responsibility.
- Manages the overall Repair and maintenance budget of the area.
- Proposes and manages the group maintenance budget. Delivering Site annual operating plan /budget of own area.
- Ensures that all HSE & quality procedures are followed and be a role model for safe behaviours.
- Takes lead in Root cause assessments in case of failures and implement corrective actions as part of continuous improvements and responsible for improvement projects.
- Understand site reliability strategies including value optimized maintenance, asset criticality assessments, FMEA and implement them across all utilities.
- Implement Preventive maintenance plan, reviews them timely and ensures that best practices are followed
- Develops a predictive maintenance culture and ensure that best practices of maintenances are followed
- Develops great collaboration with cross functional team leaders, peers to align on priorities at site level
- Ensures that right levels of inventories/ spares are maintained.
- Delivering complex projects/programs on schedule and budget working with project teams.
- Ensuring periodical servicing, annual electrical/boiler shut down work and other engineering related works.
- Power consumption/all utilities study of entire plant and implementing appropriate energy savings.
- Calibration Management
- Ensure Data integrity compliance with respect to laid down procedures and systems.
- Participating in GMP walkthrough rounds and SLT rounds.
- Approval of GMP Document destruction Log.
Your experience and qualifications
- Diploma / Engineering degree
- 12 – 15 years
