Key job responsibilities
- Maintaining existing co-located and in-house Data Centers
- Helping build and bring online new Data Centers- Assisting & managing relationships with external vendors & contractors- Ensuring we adhere to and exceed local Health & Safety standards in all our Data Centers
- Creating and maintaining metrics on all aspects of our Data Centers and utilizing those metrics to drive positive changes
- Assisting in implementing service methodologies including incident management, problem management, change management, capacity management, etc.London, GBR

- Technical degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of relevant engineering experience managing large scale services and 3 years managing and building strong successful technical teams in a similar culture
- Project Management Experience and Systems and networking knowledge
- Prior ownership of the operation of a mission-critical team and/or product

- Formal project management certifications (Prince2, PMP, AGILE)
- Scripting: Bash, Python, Perl, Ruby (or programming languages)
- Experience or Knowledge of AWS products: EC2, EBS, S3 and infrastructure and system redundancy (Power feeds, ATS, Server Hardware, RAID, Network Connectivity)Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
