Job Description:

• Position Senior ETL Developer

• Primary Skills:
  • ETL Talend
  • Java (Customizations on Talend)

• Secondary Skills:

• Snowflake
• 8+ year’s experience as ETL developer or Lead role, expertise in Talend ,SQL and experience in writing custom JAVA code on Talend
• Has played key roles in multiple large global transformation programs on business process management.
• Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases.
• Experience using Talend Open Studio (7.x) and experience with Talend Admin Console (TAC). Extensively used Talend jobs for performing Data Migration, Extraction, Transformation and Loading using Talend.
• Should have experience working on building/integrating data into a data warehouse.
• Experience in data profiling and reconciliation
• Good experience in performance tuning ETL workflows and suggest improvements.
• Developed expertise in complex data management or Application integration solution and deployment in areas of data migration, data integration, application integration or data quality.
• Experience in creating complex Talend jobs,(Joblets, routines, data processing, orchestration, parallelization, transformations and ETL Fundamentals.
• Leverages on variety of programming languages & data crawling/processing tools to ensure data reliability, quality & efficiency (optional)
• Knowledge on Cloud infrastructure and knowledge on Talend cloud is an added advantage.
• Should have knowledge of error handling and performance tuning in Talend.
• Knowledge of data modelling principles.
• Knowledge in Autosys scheduling good experience in database technologies.
• Good knowledge in Unix system

Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
• Data Extract development & Scheduling ETL jobs.
• Defining Metrics for Automation.
• Automating the workflow monitoring process.
• Assemble large, complex data sets that meet business requirements.
• Identify, design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalabilty, etc.
• Work with the Stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to assist with data related technical issues and support their data needs.
• Work with data, analytics experts and Business Intelligence team to strive for greater functionality in our data systems.
