Get the message out by speaking at security conferences, meetups, and webinars
Create content for various channels including blogs, screencasts, social media posts, and generally, as we say here at JFrog, “ribbiting”
Work closely with the JFrog R&D, Architecture, Security, Solutions, and Technical Customer Support teams to understand JFrog's technology and provide feedback
Find new channels to engage with the security community
Work with the global Marketing team to help build effective messaging and amplify our message
Monitor, measure, and manage your success through:
Developer relations activities
Social media activities
JFrog's OSS initiatives
Travel! Public health policies permitting, this role will include frequent global travel
To be a Developer Advocate in JFrog you need...
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline
5 years experience as a Security Researcher, Software Developer, or Engineer
Proven track record as a successful presenter and technical speaker
Strong writing and presentation skills regarding technical topics
Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to connect with the security community through attending meetups, technical events, and conferences
Analytical mindset and the ability to set goals, execute plans, and measure the results
Deep understanding of the developer ecosystem, especially in the security scene
Ability to express complex concepts in a compelling way that will resonate with security professionals
Ability to understand different security personas and engage with pretty much anyone
