Reporting into the Operations Coach theSenior Technician Operationswilldemonstrate Leadership behaviours. You willensureevarious production, maintenance and operations related taskseffectively performed.Ensure thatobjectives areeffectively achieved, consistenth company’s requirements to ensure compliance, safety, and reliable supply to our customer.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and leadership to carry out the following:

• Takes strong ownership of team commitments and demonstrates leadership in ensuring that they get done.

• Provides leadership during team meetings, driving meaningful discussions, inclusion, constructive feedback, and positive action.

• Routinely demonstrates ability and drive to work autonomously, but also helps organize priorities and work for other team members.

• Provides hands on training to less experienced team members within assigned suite and shift.

• Develops and mentors other team members to share operational best practices.

• Demonstrates the ability to assist other team members with common faults and errors.

• Actively identifies and resolves potentially unsafe conditions including coaching other employees on safe behaviours.

• Proactively recognises potential cGMP compliance concerns for work area from a production perspective and coaches other team members to ensure adherence to SOPs.

• Supports QN instigations through root cause determination and identification of appropriate corrective and preventative actions.

• High level of expertise in core business systems for assigned area (MES, SAP, DeltaV, etc.)

• Manages SAP inventories in assigned area to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies independently.

• Actively identifies and drives problem resolution and implements feasible solutions for opportunities and issues identified by the team.

• Actively pursues knowledge and skills in assigned area from an operations perspective and shares that information readily with team.

• Routinely resolves day to day issues by interacting with upstream stakeholders and downstream customers directly.

• Helps drive MPS for assigned area through problem solving, generating solutions, and facilitating engagement when driving implementation with the team.

• Key participant at team and Tier 1 meetings, taking ownership for certain aspects of agenda.

• Coordinate clean room cleaning,housekeepingand materials managementinall productionareaswhile focusing on continuous process improvement using Lean Principles.

• Ensure process equipmentis maintained including preventative maintenance, equipment troubleshooting and repairs toensure continuous, reliable, and repeatable operationofequipment.

• Work collaboratively to drive a safe and compliant culture in Carlow.

• Required tocomply with Global Policies, Proceduresand Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good Manufacturing Practices(cGMP)in the performanceofday-to-day activities and all applicable job functions.

• May be required to perform other duties as assigned.

What skills you will need:

In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

• Third Level Qualification

• Minimum of 5 years prior experience in Pharma or Medical Device.

• Is multi-skilled within own suite or assigned area.

• Ability to provide training to assigned team members.

• Ability to work with limited degree of supervision.

• Deep process knowledge from an operational perspective within assigned suite / area
