We are looking forto complement our growing team across the
South West and South Wales. This role requires you to be involved in undertaking and managing the delivery of a wide range of strategic transport projects for a variety of our public sector clients. To be successful in this position, you must have detailed knowledge and experience of local transport planning and policy, transport studies and recognised transport appraisal techniques.
This role will allow you to pursue relevant business and technical training to support your career development as well as the freedom to grow your network and develop innovative solutions to chase new opportunities.
- This role can be based on a Hybrid basis from our Bristol, Exeter or Cardiff offices
- Full time employment with Jacobs is 40 hours per week _ we are happy to discuss part-time and flexible working hours with you
- To be degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline
- Have achieved or be working towards a relevant professional accreditation eg CEng or CTPP
- Extensive experience in the Transport Planning field
- A creative and solutions-oriented approach with a strong technical background and professional experience of a number of transport planning fields such as business case development, scheme feasibility, transport assessments and / or modelling
- Ability to work both as part of a sophisticated multi-disciplinary team as well as independently to solve problems
- Flexibility to manage a varied workload, assist with business opportunities and embrace new technologies, product solutions and the future evolution of the industry
- Robust written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
- To be able to competently liaise and communicate with clients
- To be able to manage tasks using appropriate program, budget and quality controls
