Join the Branch Network Finance team to support key priorities for the Consumer Bank including branch network expansion and One Chase sales strategy. You will report to the Finance Lead for Branch Expansion & One Chase Strategy and will have exposure to multiple stakeholders across the Consumer Bank organization (e.g., Branch Network CFO, Data & Analytics, Field Finance).
Job responsibilities:
- Serve as strategic finance partner to the Branch Expansion & One Chase Strategy organization
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of P&L statements, headcount, OKRs, and other key financial metrics
- Provide financial inputs and advisory support for on-going business case development across strategic initiatives
- Conduct deep-dive analyses on new build branch portfolios identifying performance trends and key drivers
- Collaborate with cross-Functional teams (e.g., Data & Analytics, Real Estate, Field, cross-LOB) to analyze available data and quantify progress towards targets and commitments
- Analyze and raise awareness of competitor branch distribution strategies from quarterly earnings, industry conferences, and press releases (e.g., mergers & acquisitions, expansion)
- Support the annual FDIC deposit market share process benchmarking Chase to key peers at the national level and across local geographies for incorporation into key forums (e.g., Investor Day, OC Market Visits)
- Prepare deliverables for various stakeholder forums including staff meetings, business reviews, and town halls
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
- 6+ years of relevant Financial Services experience in financial analytics, strategy, or business management
- Intellectually curious, customer-obsessed, team-oriented, and high energy level with passion for driving quantifiable business results
- Excellent relationship management skills and ability to drive change across a large, complex organization
- Ability to convert large amounts of complex data into simple business insights to inform decision making
- Strong project management skills to deliver accurately across several workstreams at the same time and adapt as necessary
- Ability to own problem solving and process improvement across key deliverables
- Advanced level ability in PowerPoint expected; Intermediate level ability in Excel
