Role Overview/What will you do:
They will lead a key Consent Order Initiative across multiple project management areas covering complex transformation and regulatory projects within Technology. Experience in Price and Market Risk and Front Office processes is essential as well as knowledge of modern software development practices while keeping relevant SDLC artifacts and documentation up to date.
Responsibilities include accountability for end results, budgeting, planning, policy formulation, governance model implementation and contribution to future strategy of the area. Management of people, performance evaluation, hiring, disciplinary actions and terminations will be involved.
Key responsibilities:
- Demonstrates an in depth understanding of how own sub function integrates within the overall technology function to achieve objectives; requires a good understanding of the industry.
- Appropriately assesses risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- Proficiency in both waterfall and agile software development methodologies
- Being able to execute projects and influence outcomes navigating through a complex matrix organizational structure.
Knowledge / Experience
- Substantial years in a senior leadership role delivering Technology Projects and Programs, ideally in the risk domain.
- Significant years related experience in Technology in the Capital Markets in different capacities across business analysis and project management.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure managing multiple activities and changing priorities.
- Knowledge of downstream systems (general ledger, risk, regulatory, finance)
- Budget management, Risk & Control management, influencing skills.
- Managerial experience, strong communication skills and excellent stakeholder engagement
Education
- Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Project Management Certification is a plus.
