As a Dell Compute Product and Solutions Specialist supporting Global Alliances Partners, you will play a crucial role in driving the adoption and sales of Dell’s compute products and solutions through our strategic global alliances. You will work closely with alliance partners, sales teams, and customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that leverage Dell’s compute portfolio.
  • Alliance Partner Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with global alliance partners, understanding their business models and go-to-market strategies.
  • Product Expertise: Maintain deep knowledge of Dell’s compute products and solutions, including servers, storage, and networking, to effectively support alliance partners.
  • Joint Solution Development: Collaborate with alliance partners to design and develop joint solutions that leverage Dell’s compute technologies.
  • Sales Support: Provide technical expertise and support to alliance partners during the sales process, including product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept activities.
  • Training and Enablement: Deliver training and enablement sessions to alliance partners on Dell compute products and solutions to ensure they are equipped to sell and support these offerings.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to provide insights and recommendations for joint solution development and positioning.
  • Customer Success: Ensure customer satisfaction by providing post-sales support and addressing any technical issues that arise in collaboration with alliance partners.
  • Previous experience of field/outside sales
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5 + years of experience in a technical sales or solutions engineering role, with a focus on compute products and experience working with global alliance partners.
  • Strong understanding of server, storage, and networking technologies. Experience with virtualization, cloud computing, edge and data center infrastructure is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and propose innovative solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong in person customer and partner relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Possess exceptional oral and written communication skills to communicate with customers and senior level management.
