Job Description
Provide guidance to the local site management team in managing physical security aspects at the site.
Provide leadership to your direct reports in relation to global security goals and implement plan to develop them to become SME on security matters.
Develop security procedures and S.O.P/Work Instructions.
Develop secured and safe cultures at the site through security awareness and education, campaign, and etc.
Conduct internal investigation on any reported security incidents and complaints.
Report security incident and register the case through security online database.
Perform security risk assessment on a periodic basis.
Provide training to site local security team members.
Monitor and ensure all security systems are running flawlessly. If there is any deficiency, it must be reported and rectified immediately.
Develop a plan and organize security team to pass internal and external audits (ISO, RBA, etc).
Plan and forecast a security budget.
Work closely with other departments such as CREW, IT, HR, Production, warehouse and logistic.
Perform evaluations and conduct business review with the security service providers.
Monitor and measure performance of the direct reports and outsource security guards.
Monitor closely high value inventory control and scrap process control by performing an internal security audit.
Submit weekly updates to Regional Security Manager.
Attend monthly meeting with security leaders from other sites.
Qualifications
Degree or Diploma level in any studies.
Have a minimum 5 years experiences in managing and supervising site physical security.
Able to converse, understand and write in English.
It will be an added advantage if the applicant has some knowledge related to security system tools and application, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Malaysian Laws and RBA requirements.
