Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Data Virtualization team is seeking talented Backend Developers to join our growing team in Kochi. The skills required include sound knowledge of Agile Development practices, Python and Golang programming skills, Microservice architecture, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines. Our ideal candidates must have demonstrated technical and problem-solving skills to develop, debug and maintain microservices on container-based products in Cloud environments. They should have a passion for technology and software, teaming skills, able to work in a driven environment and exhibit creative thinking and collaboration while communicating effectively.

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Developing new features in GoLang/Python
Enhance existing Golang frameworks to handle new cloud platforms
Support Ops/SRE to debug production issues
Design, build, deploy, support and maintain effective CI/CD pipelines running automation jobs
Automation and documentation of repeating tasks
Deployment and maintenance of Infrastructure servers and services
