Key job responsibilities
As a Network Engineer working within AWS Infrastructure you will:- Create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.- Create and update our network standards and ensure that the network is deployed to these standards.
- Create and implement changes on the network.

- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in IP networking fundamentals and protocols and demonstrated experience with BGP and OSPF routing protocols
- Working knowledge of Cisco and Juniper networking platforms
- Experience with network protocols including IPv4, IPv6, TCP, DNS, and HTTP
- Understanding of data center network architecture and design principles

- Strong Unix skills and the ability to script in Perl, shell, C or C++ is desirable.
- Experience with mission critical multicast systems is highly desired.
- Background in cloud infrastructure networking
- Experience with network security protocols and best practices
