Role Description
We’re looking an Application Engineer (AE) for OCD (Optical Critical Dimension) who is responsible for providing technical support, application development, and customer training for OCD metrology systems. This role involves working closely with customers to understand their requirements, optimizing OCD measurement solutions, and ensuring successful implementation and integration of the technology into their manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversee application tasks, ensuring efficient customer support and resource assignment.
- Set and monitor annual goals for the Applications department and individual team members.
- Lead projects, ensuring successful execution and strong customer relationships.
- Continuously learn about our products and meet customer needs.
- Plan and conduct effective training sessions for team members.
- Support the sales team with product introductions and market expansion.
Must Have >
- Education: MS, BS, or PhD in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Materials Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Applied Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 5-10 years of experience in the semiconductor or related equipment industry, with a preference for optical dimensional metrology experience.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of optical metrology and excellent technical skills.
- Language: Advanced or intermediate communication skills in Korean and English.
Advantages >
- 5+ years of experience in optical metrology equipment customer support or similar systems.
- Management or team leadership experience.
- Experience and knowledge in optics, particularly Optical CD.
- Understanding of statistics, semiconductor device physics, numerical analysis, and mathematical optimization.
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken).
- Strong leadership, management, and customer support skills.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
