Qualifications

• Algo Research & Development: challenge definition, feasibility research, concept definition, solution development, qualification testing and on-tool implementation.
• Algorithmic solution support: gain an in-depth and fundamental understanding of tool’s algorithms, utilize knowledge for on-site trouble shooting, root cause analysis and customer escalation support.
• Work requires attending both customer site and office and becoming the local point of contact for all algorithmic items required by KLA team and customer.
• Demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods, planning experiments and techniques for obtaining solutions, working on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of multiple factors.
• Interact with senior internal and external personnel.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree with at least 4 years of experience, or Ph.D degree with at least 1 year of experience
• Major inEngineering or Physics is highly preferred.
• Highly skilled in algorithm development and implementation in Matlab / Python experience is required.
• Background in Signal & Image processing is preferred.
• Fluent and verbally skilled in communicating in English.
• Experience with Optical Systems / Microscopy is plus.
• Experience in the semi-conductor industry is plus.
