What You'll Do?In your role as Software Automation Engineer you will be responsible for -Responsibilities:
• Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts for functional, regression, and scale testing of Catalyst Center and Network automation.
• Test Framework Maintenance: Maintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks, ensuring scalability and reusability and update for Catalyst Center APIs Changes,.
• Test Execution and Reporting: Execute automated test suites, analyze test results, and generate comprehensive reports to identify and track software defects.
• Collaboration: Work closely with software development and QA teams to understand product requirements and develop effective test strategies, Test Plans and review FT test plans.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest test automation tools, technologies, and industry best practices.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear and concise documentation for test cases, test scripts, and test results.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 4+ years of experience in networking, test automation development using Python3.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including switching and routing
• Experience working with REST APIs and API testing tools.
• Experienced on git operations, vs-ide, jira, and code review process.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good to Have:
• Knowledge of Catalyst Center Controller and Enterprise Campus networking.
• Understanding of underlay and overlay networking concepts (VXLAN, EVPN).
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., pyats, pytest).But “Digital Transformation” is an empty buzz phrase without a culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even failure (if you learn from it.)
