The role is responsible to work with senior collaborators, as well as across Global/Regional/Site responsibilities. The role works with teams representing multiple sub-departments, and sometimes other departments within Booking.com as well. They are responsible for the success of the projects they lead, including but not limited to: requirements gathering and needs analyses, getting buy-in for concepts from senior-level collaborators, end to end plan, risks and dependencies identification and management, presentations of findings & requests for support, leading the project team, administration of the project documents & supporting meetings, as well as constant alignment of their initiatives to the goals of Booking, the
This role may also get involved in running a strategy workstream from problem definition to delivering a solution including the implementation strategy or implement change management initiatives and communications plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead major Global CS projects, typically from the Learning & Development, Quality, & BI teams
- Manage collaborators & build support for projects/initiatives
- Create & maintain project management frameworks & templates in tools such as Knowledge
- Management System, Learning Management System, and Quality Management (KMS, LMS, & QM) platforms as well as in Google Drive
- Create & maintain documentation relating to projects/initiatives
- Drive team of agility in planning, execution, & evaluation of success of projects within CS
- Coordinate schedules, book meetings/conferences/summits as well as other events
- Maintain high-level of engagement among geographically-diverse collaborators through social channels, email, facilitation & setup of virtual meetings & classroom settings, as well as individual in-person meetings
- Create & maintain project-related reporting & analyses
Requirements of special knowledge/skills
- PMI/PMP or Prince2 project management certification preferred
- Agile PM experience preferred
- 5 - 8 years of proven experience in this field
- Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required, though Masters degree is helpful
- Learning and/or personal development experience preferred
