Here is how, through this exciting role, YOU will contribute to BMC's and your own success:
- Learning the purpose, features and use cases of the product to be tested.
- Design test plans and strategies for functional and non-functional validation.
- Experience in manual testing – identifying scenarios, writing test cases, test execution, defect management, etc.
- Work with Developers and other Quality Automation Enineers for validation of product functionality, via manual or automated execution of test cases.
- Write test automation scripts using automation framework for regression testing.
- Maintain and evolve test suites based on latest enhancements.
- Track all discovered issues and defects, and validate fixes provided by developers .
- Document test results .
To ensure you’re set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- Experience in Automation tools, Jenkins, Hiperstation, Selenium, Robot Framework, Agile Development
- Experience in building the automation framework
- Should have experience automating application on different Angular versions (12 or higher)
- Experience in revision control systems (pretty much any will do e.g. GIT, PERFORCE, ISPW). Experience in REXX and CI/CD pipeline end to end testing.
- Experience in TestTrack, JIRA tools.
- Experience in testing and implementing mainframe applications in an IBM z/OS environment.
- Strong experience in IMS.
- Strong experience in JCL, VSAM, DB2, JES2/3, SDSF, ISPF
- Strong Diagnostics, Debugging and Troubleshooting skills
