The opportunity
  • The candidate would be working with corporate finance and HR, to build and mature the new capabilities for Work Forces planning with global stake holders on a day-to-day basis.
  • The candidate for this role will be an individual contributor and will be part of GBS IBP Team.
  • The role requires close coordination with business representative to provide business support across various work force costing queries and validations and collaborate with multiple business units.
  • This role requires technical capabilities together with deep understanding of Labour Costing elements and ability to transform data into information, to support business decisions.
  • The candidate will lead all business support and queries from both Corporate Finance and HR teams using Teva ERP and costing Cost of Labor (CoL) SAC planning platform and Excel as the key analytical tool.
  • Communication and (internal) stakeholder management with higher management levels within the Global Teva organization is required in this process.
How you’ll spend your day

• Managing all Labor Costing related accounting activities including Planning process and their reporting and reconciliations.
• Plays key role in the initial transition of processes in cost of labor planning activities into the Global Business Services. Therefore, tight communication and collaboration with local, regional and global accounting, FP&A and HR teams where needed.
• Standardize and streamline cost of labor planning process with clear methodology across all sites and BU’s; support local planners with quarries and training on the proper usage of the CoL SAC planning platform. Build robust monthly recon process, run sanity checks on system output vs. historical data, etc. .
• Understand and ensure adherence with applicable financial policies and guidelines with special emphasis on:CoL planning guidelines, global accounting policies, corporate FP&A and HR policies and AOP guidelines,
• Be fully accountable for all the CoL planning activities- plan, report, monitor and analyze.
• Perform regular scrutiny of ledgers, to ensure accuracy of general ledgers, cost center & profit center accounting.
• Support business decisions by providing ad hoc analytics and assessments for different scenarios.
• Maintain analytical processes, routines and tools to support CoL analysis and validation.
• Support stakeholders’ queries related to plan vs. actual performance and analyze impactful elements. Process documentations and certifications – maintain all processes documentation updated on regular basis

Your experience and qualifications

• 5 to 7 years of experience with finance background with strong working knowledge in financial planning, costing and cost of labor accounting.
• CWA / CA / M.Com / MBA Finance
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent Excel capabilities
• Previous Work Force planning experience - advantage
• Fluent verbal and written communication in English
• Excellent collaboration with colleagues in the organization
• Ability to work effectively under pressure
