• Work as a part of Forter’s data science team to design, develop, and optimize machine learning models for various research projects and business applications.
• Collaborate with researchers, data scientists, and expert analysts and enable them to research new models faster and with greater precision by providing cutting-edge tooling.
• Collaborate with Forter’s ML Platform team to integrate ML models into existing systems and workflows.
• Collect, preprocess, and analyze data from diverse sources to train, validate, and test ML models.
• Participate in code reviews, team meetings, and knowledge-sharing sessions to foster collaboration and continuous learning.
• Contribute to the development of best practices, tools, and processes for machine learning engineering within the team.
• Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of ML models and iterate to improve their accuracy and efficiency.
• Document and communicate research findings, model architectures, and performance metrics to stakeholders.

• Experience in collaborating with data scientists, researchers and/or ML engineers, working with machine learning concepts and frameworks
• 4+ years developing complex software projects with at least one of general-purpose languages (preferably Python) and ML libraries like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Motivation to understand the needs of internal users, provide them with great tooling, and teach them how to use it.
• Experience working with public clouds (AWS / GCP / Azure)
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Are familiar with Databricks or Airflow.
• Experience with large-scale data processing, ideally with Apache Spark.
