Manager – Detail oriented and experienced in managing month end close, preparing account reconciliation, flux analysis, and researching complex accounting issues. The role requires demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing team.
Your key responsibilities
- Efficiently manage the monthly close process including ensuring all transactions are properly recorded, reviewing/approving journal entries and account reconciliations and participate in financial close meetings with cross-functional teams
- Meticulous adherence to the compliance calendar of client to ensure smooth closure of books of accounts
- Prepare and present account reconciliation and flux analysis to senior leadership, empowering strategic decision making
- Conduct in-depth technical accounting research, with a primary focus on complex topics such as revenue recognition and lease accounting
- Ensure SOX compliance, including preparation and review of documentation
- Serve as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for business partners and corporate controllers, providing guidance and support on financial processes, reporting, and compliance matters
- Effectively communicating risks and issues as necessary to senior leadership

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Chartered Accountant (CA/ACCA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with at least 5+ years of post-qualification work experience
- Strong technical knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (IFRS and US GAAP exposure is a plus)
- Basic understanding of direct and indirect taxes
- Candidates with proven capabilities of setting up Multi country Finance Operations, process management, month end close, account reconciliation and financial reporting processes

- Excellent communication with strong problem-solving skills, capable of challenging the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively, take complete ownership of tasks, and work collaboratively across teams
- Experience in managing and leading a team
- Proven track of working with leaders from across geographies and managing the deliverables under a fast changing environment with accurate quality in a metrics environment.
