You will report to the Technical Sales Manager

As a Solution Architect, you will engage with internal collaborators and customers and partners to develop technical account plan/strategy and increase sales engagements to technical closure. As an important member of the tech sales team, you will ensure success by capturing customer use cases and designing complex technical solutions on top of Informatica Data Management Cloud. You will educate customers and team members on the Informatica value proposition and participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment and use in the cloud. Within our technical sales community you will be an active, constant learner with a stay up to date with industry trends. You will mentor others on the team and contributing to the development of shared selling assets, knowledge stores, and enablement materials. To ensure sustained revenue growth you will contribute to pipeline generation by delivering technical workshops, being active in social media promotions, developing content for external circulation, and participating in industry marketing events.

Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do
  • Manage customer engagements independently.
  • Share best practices, content, and tips and tricks within primary responsibilities.
  • Stay current on certification of services required for responsibilities.
  • Perform activities leading up to the delivery of a customer demo with little assistance including discovery, technical qualification/fit, customer presentations, standard demos, and related customer-facing communication.
  • Lead on RFP responses and POC's.
  • Create customized demos.
  • Partner with the CSM team on nurture activities including technical advisory, workshops, etc.
  • Provide customer feedback on product gaps.
  • Support demos at marketing events.
  • Conduct technical workshops with customers.
What We'd Like to See
  • Basic certification on at least one cloud ecosystem and a data related cloud technology.
  • Intermediate knowledge of security for cloud computing.
  • Advanced level skills for Informatica services and product capabilities in respective major or area of focus.
  • Storytelling and presentation skills specific to use cases.
  • Ability to engage and create relationships with influencers, coaches, decision makers, and partners.
  • Intermediate technical knowledge of hybrid deployment of software solutions, data warehousing, database, or business intelligence software concepts and products.
Role Essentials
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Management, MDM, or Data Governance
  • 5 years of prior presales/technical sales or consulting experience
  • BA/BS or equivalent educational background

This is a hybrid remote/in-office role.
