About the Role:
Develop required maintenance actions in order for the operative and productive condition of equipment used in the production process is optimal at all times, becoming directly responsible for the non-productive time due to productive equipment malfunctioning.
Responsibilities include:
- Oversee proper functioning and optimum appearance of production equipment.
- Execute preventive maintenance necessary for the equipment to be always in proper operative condition and in a timely manner.
- Perform corrective maintenance in a timely manner.
- Provide technical advice to area operators, and I,II, and III technicians.
- Follow established Quality System procedures, including but not limited to: Training, Regulatory Audits, Maintenance Activities Documentation, etc.
- Follow instructions and procedures established in order to perform maintenance.
- Use and encourage the use of necessary safety equipment.
- Follow up on documentation of non-productive hours due to equipment malfunctioning.
- Provide support to the continuous improvement process of Maintenance procedures.
- Apply Root Cause Analysis to non-productive hours due to equipment malfunctioning and proper documentation that supports the continuous improvement process.
- Support Engineering activities related to product/process transfers between BSCI facilities.
- Lead aspects related to the installation and operation of productive equipment and/or processes, as well as supporting their validation.
- Oversee the physical condition of equipment (paint, nuts and bolts, etc.).
- Assure correct use of area equipment by operators.
- Generate lists of critical parts necessary for each team.
- Promote and/or support waste or parts reduction initiatives in order to optimize their use.
- Pursue and/or engage in potential improvements or changes to enhance equipment use.
- Oversee the good use and condition of tools, as well as the use of equipment.
- Keep work areas, as well as the workshop, organized and cleaned at all times.
- Provide support to research regarding Quality events in production equipment and/or productive processes.
Job requirements:
- Completed High School Diploma.
- Technical education in electromechanics, electronics, electrotechnics, electricity, or 50% progress in related university degrees.
- English level from 40% to 70%.
- Availability to work in Shift A (Monday to friday from 6:00 a.m to 3:30 p.m).
Desirable technical requirements:
- Knowledge in corrective and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Knowledge in tools like Windchill, SAP, and BMRAM.
- Knowledge in Office package.
- Experience in electrical control.
- Knowledge in PLC.
