Position Description

Applicants and sourcing agencies should note that this is a very hands-on technical role. The candidate will be required to participate in all phases of the SDLC lifecycle (i.e. develop new and enhance existing processes, perform code reviews, test software, participate in application architecture and design). There will be a short training period for the candidate to become familiar with the application suite and gain functional knowledge.

Qualifications

• The applicant should have at least 7+ years of experience performing design, technical analysis and construction of quality COBOL, DB2, VSAM, JCL and CICS solutions. Knowledge of MQ is a plus.
• The applicant should have at least 7+ years of work history in application development, preferably in Financial Services or Wealth Management.
• The applicant should have experience in a structured SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) process; Analysis, Design, Development, Testing and Production implementation.
• Knowledge of QA Procedures, guidelines and controls.
