As a new member of our team, you will support clients on challenging and diverse projects such as financial risk measurement and management, improvement of financial risk processes, risk modelling and validation, or provision valuations. We also help our clients to monitor and to implement new approaches required by the latest insurance regulations, for example Solvency II, IFRS17, local GAAP or ESG.

Your Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to actuarial advisory and audit assignments/client projects in Hungary and other CEE countries
- Audit support on Local GAAP and IFRS audit, both life and non-life segments
- Solvency II regulation support and review
- Actuarial and insurance advisory
- Mergers & Acquisitions, actuarial modelling, employee benefit valuations
- Manage, coach small teams of junior, senior actuarial and trainees as part of a larger project, including performance management
- Actuarial manager is involved in the successful delivery and management of actuarial and multidisciplinary projects, including both the relationship with clients and the performance of the internal EY team.
- The successful candidate will be expected to drive the production of client deliverables, with an emphasis on quality and teaming.
- Manager will be expected to adopt an account management mind-set, identifying client specific needs.

To qualify for the role you must have
- MSc in Actuarial sciences or relevant mathematical/financial studies
- At least 6 years of actuarial experience in the insurance/finance industry or advisory/audit
- Experience in Life and non-life insurance/reinsurance or non-life consultancy
- Outstanding knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience in using actuarial and/or statistical software
- Knowledge in IFRS standards and/or Solvency II
- Knowledge of a programming language and/or algorithmic thinking is an advantage
- Fluent Hungarian and English knowledge is a must
- MAT membership, Big4 experience, or passing an international actuarial exam are advantageous
