About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Associate for Borrowers Quality Rating. This job is responsible for credit portfolio management to meet the long-term financial objectives and risk tolerance for commercial banking clients. Serves as a key member of a client’s deal team.
In this role, you will:
- Research complex financial and credit information for commercial business, or high net worth customer loan packages, according to business unit standards within Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area
- Review basic issues, policies, or procedures for which answers can be quickly obtained, related to low to medium risk tasks and deliverables
- Underwrite loans with aggregate credit exposure based upon approved credit authority limits
- Investigate credit standards and determine credit worthiness of high net worth loans
- Receive direction from supervisor and exercise independent judgement while developing understanding of function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers
Required Qualifications:
- 6+ months of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
- Graduate of any Business Course (Finance, Accounting or other related fields)
- Good written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with diverse culture of team members (US, India and Philippines)
- Solid background in ratio analysis, financial statement analysis, risk assessment, and economics
- Previous experience as a credit analyst.
- Experience in a shared services environment is a plus.
- Have strong attention to details with ability to notice discrepancies to data
- Excellent MS Office Skills
Job Expectations:
- Willing to work in midshift schedule (5pm to 2am shift)
- Willing to work in office per existing Return-To-Office guidelines
