Responsibilities
- Collaborate with various internal teams such as Business, Operations, Risk, Compliance, Finance and Legal to gather necessary inputs for reporting
- Identify, assess and manage risks related to resolution and recovery planning
- Oversee the creation of status reports on key initiatives as well as risks and issues to ensure appropriate communication to leadership and other supporting governance forums
- Ensure that all RRP related reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted on time
- Oversee remediation tracking, inclusive of monitoring dashboards
- Gather, analyze, and compile RRP key performance indicators (KPIs) and escalate issues, as needed
- Manage all RRP related governance forums, regulatory meeting preparations, and executive updates, including:
- Managing the production of materials for governance forums outlining key progress, updates, and issues of the RRP program
- Participate and manage other legal entity related regulatory submissions in addition to RRP
Knowledge, Experience, and Skills
- Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, economics, law, or related fields
- Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate treasury, risk management, financial regulation, project management, or similar fields. Big 4 experience preferred
- Leadership Skills: Ability to develop, motivate, and lead a team, effectively manage complex projects, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Communication Skills: Excellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and provide direction with judgement and authority to enable effective engagement with senior stakeholders
- Written Communications: Excellent writing skills to ensure accurate and complete reporting
- Understanding of Regulatory Environment: Deep knowledge of financial regulations and requirements, particularly those relating to recovery and resolution planning
- Risk Management Skills: An understanding of the principles and applications of risk management. The ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks across a broad spectrum
- Compliance Management: Knowledge and experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements as well as experience representing large financial institutions with regulatory bodies
- Technical Skills: Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau Dashboards), proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Tools, and knowledge of other RRP and/or project management software and tools
- Analytical Skills: Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organizational Skills: Capable of managing multiple priorities and meeting tight deadlines in a dynamic work environment
- Teaming: Proven track record engaging and partnering with Business Unit (BU) leaders and cross-functional teams (e.g., Risk, Audit, Legal, Compliance, Technology, etc.)
