Job Responsibilities:
- Manage day to day client asset activity for the quarterly client asset statement publication. Partner with the Head of Client Asset and internal stakeholders to maintain and enhance a robust and efficient operating model with regard to all Client Asset regulatory requirements and ongoing maintenance process for all Workplace customers.
- Ensure all regulatory requirements in relation to Client Assets are met, including through the sponsorship of various development projects and establishing metrics to measure success
- Build a culture of responsibility , good governance and supervision while driving the operational efficiency of all aspects on CASS to reduce costs and improve customer satisfaction.
- Complete and accurate publication of client asset statements on a quarterly basis.
- Prepare and save all supporting documentation on a quarterly basis, to support the client asset publication and provide tools, training, and overall support to stakeholders
- Work with the reconciliation team to ensue complaint custody asset and client money reconciliations (CASS). Identify, document and escalate CASS breaches, collaborate with wider business to implement preventative controls
- Remaining up to date with industry changes from a CASS compliance perspective across all aspect of asset management
- Maintaining the first line of defense of compliance ensuring individual adherence to business processes and procedures and supporting change initiatives, assessing the impact on CASS process.
- Appropriately asses risk / reward of transactions when making business decisions demonstrating proper consideration of the firms reputation.
