You will work in a collaborative team environment to explore and create solutions to industry problems using state-of-the-art large language models. You bring to this team environment several years of industry experience in deep learning using the latest in transformer-based architectures, as well as the curiosity and grit to see a project to delivery and excellent communication skills.
You will be regarded as a professional who requires minimal supervision and is expected to analyze information, deduce conclusions, apply independent judgment, and suggest solutions while actively engaging others in work processes to expand and broaden professional domain knowledge.
How will you make an impact?
- Conduct cutting-edge research and develop advanced algorithms and models.
- Build and fine-tune deep learning and machine learning models, with an emphasis on large language models.
- Communicate research findings, technical concepts, and model recommendations effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to ensure model effectiveness and alignment with business objectives.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science research and contribute to the development of our knowledge base.
Have you got what it takes?
- Advanced degree(s) in a STEM field: Computer Science, Math, Engineering, etc.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working with deep learning models using real-life (“industry”) data.
- Excellent proficiency in Python programming, experience with Hugging Face models and one or more deep learning libraries (PyTorch, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Experience with using and/or fine-tuning large language models, as well as traditional machine learning models.
- Strong research skills, with a proven track record of developing and implementing advanced machine learning algorithms.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Fluent in English
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Experience deploying models in production environments, ensuring scalability and performance.
- Experience working in AWS.
- Experience working on international, globe-spanning teams.
