KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute the Platoon financial strategy aligned with its growth goals.- Oversee royalty accounting, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to artists, producers, and partners.- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, music licensing laws, and industry reporting standards.- Identify cost-saving opportunities and manage financial risk.
- Strong understanding of music industry economics, including royalties, publishing, and licensing.
- Proven experience as a CFO or senior financial leader, group financial controller, preferably in the music, entertainment, or media industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Finance Qualification or MBA preferred
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, creative, and entrepreneurial environment.
- Passion for music and belief in the mission of supporting independent artists
